About

Hi, I'm Angelique

I’m just a mami raising my daughter Emberly while trying to keep my life together, my coffee hot, and my patience longer than a toddler meltdown.

Motherhood did not come in soft and peaceful for me. It came in loud, overstimulating, emotional, and real. One minute I’m building businesses and handling life, the next I’m negotiating with a tiny human about why we cannot wear the same shirt three days in a row.

Somewhere in all of that, I realized something.

Trying to be a perfect mom was actually making me a worse one.

I was more reactive.

More overwhelmed.
0 %
More “why am I snapping over this right now” energy.
20/ 0 !!!

I was doing the most and still feeling like it wasn’t enough.

So I stopped chasing perfect.

Now I care about being stable.

That means building systems so my mornings don’t feel like chaos. That means setting boundaries so my energy isn’t constantly drained. That means learning how to regulate myself instead of spiraling and then feeling guilty about it later.

And yeah… sometimes that means stepping outside for a second, taking a breath, and minding my business in a very mellow way.

This space is where I talk about all of it.

Motherhood, mental load, emotional regulation, dating, raising your standards, healing, burnout, and figuring life out in real time without pretending I have it all together.

Because I don’t.

I’m clumsy, I forget things, I trip over my own plans sometimes, and I am 100 percent still learning.

But I show up.
I try again.
And I choose peace a little more every day.

At the end of the day, Emberly does not need a perfect mom.

She needs a present one.
A stable one.
A real one.

And that is exactly what I am becoming.

Welcome to The Mellow Mami.

My Vision...

I want to create a space where moms feel seen in the real parts of motherhood, not just the polished ones. A space where we can talk honestly about the mental load, the overstimulation, the growth, and everything in between without feeling like we are falling short.

I am building a life where peace is the priority, where stability matters more than perfection, and where my daughter grows up watching what it looks like to choose yourself, set boundaries, and still love deeply.

My Mission...

My mission is to be real about what motherhood actually feels like while helping other moms feel less alone in it. I share what I am learning in real time, from emotional regulation to building systems that make life easier, to raising your standards without guilt.

If I can help even one mom feel calmer, more grounded, and a little more confident in how she is showing up for herself and her child, then I am doing exactly what I am meant to do.
